M confused whether or not I should order gcms
My friend working in same company as me and had similar profile
August applicant.. She orders gcms and got an email from CEC very next day requesting an updated job letter
So she is telling me not to order gcms and just let my file go in regular processing
So m
Confused

That sounds like a coincidence to me. I would just order.

That's what happened to my friend
Her work
Permit expired in the meantime while I was still working there so she had to request that through me to speak with the employer to issue another letter

Yeah same happened with me , I lost my job after applying...and right now on EI...but will be starting new job in August

Did any one from november people thinking of upfront medical to save some time ?

I thought about doing upfront medicals but with the number of rejections or objections I saw in my friend circle in past couple
Of
Months.. I dropped the idea and would just wait for my turn

I agree.

Re: upfront medicals, I guess it depends on where you are located. I just found out that I have to wait a month to get my medicals done let alone sent to CIC so that's going to delay my application for sometime. So check first and if it's going to take sometime, make an appointment and wait.

Yeah I suppose so. But I know someone who applied from Nova Scotia and it took them 2 years. So again could be random.

Hi,

I'm November 13th,2012 applicant and i received my Medicals yesterday along with RPRF and BIO-Data form and i haven't see up until now. I’m basically from Toronto Etobicoke area so i request you to suggest me the doctor where i can get medicals without much delay as my work permit is getting over my mid of October. Please advise me about the e-medicals enabled doctor’s office in my area and the timelines it takes and is really worth it to go in this route.

I wish you all the best who are all waiting for Medicals.

Thanks a lot for all the form members who are all contributing their time and effort to help others.
