I am happy to see the progress everyone is making so far. My husband was called for interview in August at the London VO. Luckily I was there with him, we attended the interview together but was asked to excuse for some mins. The interview went on well. We were ask for additional document in which we have provided. Hopefully the waiting will be over soon.

Dear Madam,

We have requested a re-assessment of the results of your medical exams, and will advise you once we receive a reply from our Medical Centre.

Sincerely / Atenciosamente,

Visa and Immigration Section

Now, how long may this take?

I received this email 3 weeks ago and was told by the end of September I would have had my medicals extended and the CoPR will have been issued.

As of the 30th I am still waiting.

Also from what I gather, the extension of your medical is not guaranteed. It is up to the medical visa officer to determine if you must re do any aspect of your medicals.

So as of 7am this morning, I now have DECISION MADE!

Absolutely thrilled to have received that this morning. I feel as though my life can begin once again and I no longer feel like I am in limbo!

Much thanks to all on this forum.

As for me, I'll have to actually go through new X-Ray exams... Oh well, just one more piece of a huge puzzle to be solved. =) Hopefully the last one!

Because on Monday they sent me this:

"Dear Madam,
We have requested a re-assessment of the results of your medical exams, and will advise you once we receive a reply from our Medical Centre.

And on Tuesday they sent me:

"Dear BrazilianGirl,
In order to reassess your medical exams you are required to undergo new X-Rays. Please find new X-Ray request letter attached.
Sincerely,
VISA SECTION"

I'm going to do it on Monday. ;D

I was informed my CoPR was posted to me on Monday and will hopefully receive it sometime next week. I am off to Seattle next Thursday, so if it was here before then, my world would be complete.

If not, what is another few days? I've waited this long, right?

I received an email from London saying they were going to request an extension 3 weeks ago. They said the extension is not guaranteed and is ultimately the decision from the medical officer. They may ask for additional x rays or blood work.

But in a nut shell, yes, they took 3 weeks to extend and send out my CoPR.

Just an update that I received an email from CIC today stating that my application was actually approved on the 25th September and that my CoPR was sent that same day - so if all works out, it *should* be here well before the end of next week.
