There is no reason you can't bring ORIGINAL legitimate CD's from Philippines to Canada. I have brought many DVD's and VCD's back no problems.
...thanks! i was relieved... ;)

As per the process, doctors have to send in the reports as they are. However, if they find something not right such as high blod pressure at the of the medical, something in the blood, etc, some doctors act nice and give you a chance to re-do the medical. Back in the day, my friend's mom's blood pressure too high, so the doctor gave her some meds and asked her to re-do the tests. The only bad part is that they will charge again.

The Problem was that when my wife did the exam, they doctor didn't talk to her about the results (which was all good), and is just sending the results now. Mind you that we did the exam months ago.... sadly adding more delays :(

...jax2k3...dont worry..the doctor never tell you the result..after days they will call you that she had a health problems..Mine is last October medical exam after the exams the secretary remind me to called me after 3 days if they found any problems of my medical..so i waited for 3 days but no call..in my ecas..still 'applications recived' but no medical recieved..but passport is already in CEM..dont worry..things will be fine for you...God Bless

I never expected to hear anything on a Sunday, but I am not complaining, and technically it was updated on Thursday, however, my application status is now In Process, and the following is in E-Cas:

We received your application for permanent residence on November 18, 2011.

We started processing your application on March 15, 2012.

Medical results have been received.

So, we're processing! Yay! Also, if you aren't using E-Cas I highly recommend it, it let me know there was an update.

I can only hope that Buffalo is that on the ball. It would be wonderful if when I went at the end of May to "visit" it was actually a landing. I would be thrilled beyond all belief. And here I thought I was praying before...watch out God, incoming! ;)

SoC and Mrslwsn, awesome news for you both!!!!!

We're still waiting on the AOR from POS :(

Did you guys see the article on Huffington Post about Canada's plan to create a mandatory marriage period? Once this project is approved, people who divorce in less than two years after being sponsored will be deported.

Of course no one here wants anybody's marriage to go wrong, but this is just creepy.

I don't know why, but I can't paste the link here.

AYE ZP! Thank you, and I certainly hope something comes through very soon for you! You have my prayers.

I know it seems like a crappy thing for the government to do...but the canadian govt really needs to find a solution for fraudulant applications....and if your marraige is legitimet than this new "rule" really shouldn't be a concern....

They are making some changes to the system to discourage fraudsters from applying and deporting fraudsters who are already here. As they eliminate much of the fraud from the system, it should reduce the waiting queue's and make it quicker for us legitimate cases to proceed and complete. This is a good move by the government. We all win with these steps.
