I'm so tired and I just got home around 4pm today beacause of our school outdoor, when I arrived home my sister told me I had a letter from CEM yesterday around 2pm and it was dated Feb. 14 . I opened it and it was my PPR request ... no reaction from me, I think because I'm tired for real. This is not the feeling that I'm expecting.

0jenifer0 , I am sure you will feel better after a good rest !!! Congrats to you !!! :) :) :)

Congratz on the PPR 0jenifer0, dinmab!!! So happy November is getting their requests. *cheers*

Hi everyone,

Today is a good day for me and my wife.

My wife has received the PPR (via email from New Delhi Visa office) dated 16-Feb-2012.
I am so glad that they are processing the applications within a reasonable time.

Good luck with those who are still waiting for their approvals and PPR requests.

Can you please help us sharing your timeline from the time you sent application to mississauga...

Thanks. It is available in November 2011 Spreadsheet: http://goo.gl/WT6Q6

Can anyone update the NOV spreadsheet with my PPR request date (16-Feb-2012)?

Thanks.

Cool...Congrats

thats just 23 days after being approved as sponsor....fantastic...

Congrats to everyone who received PPR!!! That is awesome news! :D :D

We got some news today, but I don't think it's too good. Our file has been transferred from Buffalo to Detroit (has this happened to anyone else yet?) And they requested a RCMP fingerprint check, which we have to do outside of Canada and the processing times are up to 11 weeks but the consulate has only given us 60 days to complete this. Does anyone know why this would be required?

Also, I saw on a thread before a detailed post about the steps and procedures of processing a spousal application for PR. Does anyone have the link to it? I would really like to read it over again.

Is the fingerprint check for the sponser or the person being sponserd? Both you and your spouse are currently staying in canada?

No, we are both in the US right now, and the fingerprint check is only for him -- he's a US citizen and I am sponsoring him.

@ mistleotoes the sender's email address is 're-delhi-im-enquiry at international.gc.ca', since my VO is New Delhi.
@ jax2k3 after PPRs, it could take anywhere from 10 days, to 2 months (based on what my friend tells, who works for a travel agency in India)
