Hubby and I received an email from POS today.

It came from RE-PSPAN-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca [mailto:RE-PSPAN-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca

Dear Applicant,

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada.

I am pleased to advise you that all processing requirements have been met and your immigrant visa will be issued to you when you have provided the following to our office:

1) copies of ALL the pages of your current/valid passport. Your passport must be valid at least one month beyond the validity of your medical examination, 12 October 2012, which will be the date by which you must arrive in Canada as an immigrant;

2) one (1) current passport-type photograph, meeting the enclosed specifications, for yourself. Do not staple or glue these photos to any object;

3) complete the following information for yourself:

Name Eye Colour Height (cm)

That would be your PPR! Congratulations!!!

Hey Guys,

Congratulations to those who have got their Visas, Passport requests and approvals.

CIC, New Delhi has requested additional documents from my spouse and she has forwarded them on 29th March. We have not heard anything since then. Is anybody in a similar situation? Please share your experiences.

dinmab, Jax2k3 - Have you got any updates? Because we are in similar situation and all of us are waiting to hear from New Delhi office.

Is ‘Speedpost’ in India fast enough and reliable to send documents to New Delhi office?

Hey guys. Husband landed today. Everything went smooth except the airline lost his baggage, but they found it and are delivering it to us tonight *supposedly* lol. Thanks to all the great support in here and best of luck to all still in the process.

Congrats everyone ... for receiving visa or passport request ... my time line shows that i am still in process as i got to know on my status last month on 24th that they started processing of my application on 23rd march and in march as date was 23rd got email to deposit RPRF which was lately paod on 26th march ... i was wondering what will be next step if anyone knows so let me know waitong

I haven't heard from CIC India for along time... still says in Progress... since March 6.... also is that the doctor sscrewed up and didn't send in our medical reports til March 17...so more delays for sure.
