Yes, logically that is fine but the catch is, the PR visa that get stamped is a one time entry visa which gets invalidated on your first entry. Now to travel in and out of Canada, you need to have additional travel documents.

Hi All,

I have a question.
Job duties for NOC 2173 n 2174 are quite similar. have selected 2173 in my EE profile as it suits my duties but Nova Scotia PNP has only NOC code 2174.
So can I still apply for Nova Scotia PNP with 2173 NOC code in my EE profile or I should change my NOC to 2174 (I don't mind changing it to 2174 as job duties are very similar)

Yes it is achievable. But you just have to get someone send your PR Card to you before you can enter Canada again.

Its been 11 months now since I have submitted my application. How long more could this take? They are not even answering any emails.

May be I am asking them something wrong. Can someone tell what should I ask them in email to make them reply. Any suggestions with people who have experienced situation like this?

Current status: BG Check in processing.
