My CRS is 324 and don't have job offer or relative so hit the wall. Can you please give some suggestion from your experience.

Thanks

Hello SDKD,

Can you provide us an update regarding your status in your CIC account? Does it now say decision has been made? And after you got the PPR was it stucked at "processing your background check?"

Thank you so much!

Hai,

There is no updation in my account same as before " processing your background check"....I think it will change only after Visa stamping my passport.

Hai,

For employability - Use some websites like careerbeacon.ca, workopolis.ca etc to list a few employers or if you've contacted any employers in the past include the details

Settlement plan - talk about a particular city or a county you researched and preferably plan to settle in. There is a non profit organization named ISANS in NS. They can be of great help. Actually they offer pre/post arrival courses, workshops, guidance etc for new immigrants to find jobs, get better at English if needed, settlement ideas etc. They offer this service both before and after arrival mostly free of cost.

Hi All,

My AOR is August 8, 2017 and it has been 4+ months since then. My Medical still shows 'Under Review', any idea how long does it take to pass the Medical?

I have been assigned the UCI Number on September 1, 2017 and since then no update/change in my application. Please do advise.

Regards,
Aditya

Hello Cian,

Thanks for your response. My concern is not the PPR, my concern is - even after 4+ months, my medical still shows 'Under Review'. I have noticed, for most of the cases, Medical gets through in 2-3 months.

Should I be concerned if my Medical is still not passed even after 4+ months?

Aditya

Hi Spremkr2001,

My CRS score was 359 before NS nomination. After I got NS nomination my CRS went above 900 and I was issued ITA. Well just like SDKD and others have advised before, you need to keep in touch with the Provinces to know when they are opened. Read through their requirements are get yourself ready. NS and Saskatchwan are a little bit easier to approach but you must keep your fingers on the keyboard always ready to respond when they are opened.
