Hi Fatima,

How are you? Its been long since I heard from you. Well, its been more than 3 months but I havent seen any change in my application. No updates after the medical got passed. BG not started, eligibility still under review. How about you? What going on with your application?

Have been doing great. As per my application. No word since Feb 28th. Not even my medicals have been passed
But am still positive everything will turn in our favour at the end and very soon too.

I believe its a positive response. If nominee officer has forwarded your application to management. Which is just an approval from the management. Mostly 'Yes'. You will get nomination tomorrow for sure. Get ready with the jumping shoes! Best of Luck!

I sent an email to my Nominee Officer and got the below response --

"The assessment of your application is complete and your file has been forwarded to management for a decision. Once a decision has been reached, you will be notified."

Any idea if I should relax with this response? Has someone else got a similar response from the Nominee Officer and subsequently got the Nomination?

I I did receive similar response 4 months back.It means you can plan to apply now forPCC and Medical. You are through. Within a week, you will get nomination letter. Be ready with ur documents. Congrats dude.

if a person has 2 years experience in NOC 1311 (from 2012-2014)( in demand list) and 2 years experience is in NOC 1225(purchaser) currently working as purchaser, would his/her application be considered in new high demand list under NOVA SCOTIA one year experience requirement in last 10 year. Currently in express entry having score 365, is there any chance to get nomination, but current job is in NOC 1225 AND also has experience in NOC 1311 ACCOUNTING as mentioned above. what is the procedure to apply if have current express entry profile.

please advise.

Hi guys! I'd have a question if someone can help.
I'd like to apply for NS demand with NOC of Civil Engineer, but I have a degree in Architecture. My work experience is in a Municipality and my designation is Specialist in Engineering Sciences and I have a lot of duties matching those of civil engineer. Do you think this will give me problems of degree and NOC mismatch?

But issue is that there is no option for Nova Soctia Demand: Express Entry

hello seniors, i just got invited to apply yesterday.
I have a quick question, do i need to accept this invitation? Like in the nomination which we have 30 days to accept?
or 90 days starts as soon as I am invited? I am trying to buy some time because I am due to deliver on June 19 and would need time to process birth certificate and passport of our baby. In the invite it says I have until Aug 3 to process everything.
Please please enlighten me. ??? ??? ???

Hello everyone, i'm hoping one of the experienced members, or someone who is further down the line than us on this forum can answer some questions!

We submitted our Nova Scotia nomination application in mid October 2015 and were issued with an ITA for PR the end of February this year (not a quick process hey!). We are just about to do this and wondered how long other forum members are finding it takes to be issued with you PR visa? I think i picked up around 4 months?

Secondly, we have police checks for 'immigration purposes' we had done in the UK last year for a child visa for Australia - they are valid until July 2017 - i'm hoping if we can? upload them with our online ITA application, we won't have to get new ones done?

Do you have to pay a fee when you submit your online ITA application?

Finally, my husband's skill in demand was for the computer programmer occupation - anyone any insight into the job market in NS for this area? He is very experienced in this field, so would be looking for a senior role.

Nova Scotia rule is that you have experience of any NOC which is in demand list in last 6 years.... If you score 67 points with only NOC 1311 experience then you can apply
