Hi All,
As we know, Nova Scotia will start accepting EOI in coming weeks- so i have a question.
I am a graduate from a recognized university in India - Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science ( listed in occupation demand list) and having job experience of 5+ years but not related to my graduation and in NOC 1221(not listed in occupation in demand).
So am i eligible for NS express entry job in demand ?

waiting for reply with fingers crossed.

Dear All,

I want to know the time frame after getting Visa Stamped. And Primary applicant has to enter with in that time frame or even spouse has to be their . Assuming that I apply medicals ON 15th May and I get Visa Stamp on my passport on 15th OCT 2017 . Suppose I reach NS in January 2018 , After 6 months settling down then if i call my spouse in June or July 2018 will that visa will be valid or not . I have to do medicals once again or not . Primary applicant has to reach Nova scotia before 15th May or Both applicants has to reach there . Kindly send me link if its mention in CIC website .

Thanks for your usual support .

Best Regards

Hai Zakir,

Hw r u???Whats about your status?? Got all documents??

I think Primary and all dependent have to enter NS before 15th May. If primary applicant goes early, all dependents have to reach NS before 15th.

I think they had mentioned that all primary and dependent have to be in Canada before Visa expires. So from medical date they calculate. Me started uploading ...have lot to do...

Want a little advise.

I live in Alberta more over my uncle also lives here and two aunts and cousin lives in Ontario. Actullay my brother is going to apply for NS so is it a good idea to mention about all our realtive in Canada? Because it can make his case weak as he has relatives in other province. What you people say

Hello Roshnee,

One should never hide/lie/manipulate facts in the application. Your brother needs to give all the facts right. We have many of our friends in this group who have similar case and they were successfully able to secure a nomination. Your brother needs to show strong intentions to settle in Nova Scotia. He should be able to convince the case officer why he wants to settle in Nova Scotia and not Alberta/Ontario etc.

Hello Prashant,

Unfortunately you are not eligible for NSOI Express Entry: Demand program at present. Please wait for NSOI to open for 2017 and in case 1221 is one of the listed Occupation Lists, you can apply.

Hi,
I am a software engineer.
Im interested in submitting my profile to NS PNP this year.
For submitting resume to NS PNP, does it need to be in Canadian format? Can anyone guide me?

Hello SDKD,

The following text which I found on the vancouverimmigrationblog.com might give you the answer:

''The challenge lies, for many applicants, in securing this documentation. Granted, the supporting documentation is not needed for ALL positions. As IRCC has made quite clear in correspondence to immigration representatives (although they can make this clearer in their online material), only work experience that impacts the Comprehensive Ranking Score (“CRS”) is a required document. However, applicants are advised by IRCC to upload explanations in lieu. This often is true for accompanying spouses, but also possibly for Applicants if the work experience is in excess or outside of the amounts being claimed for points.''

More experienced members will give their opinion.

Cheers!

Hello Srividia,

I am also preparing application for the NSNP EE Demand stream 2017 and I think we should definitely submit a Canadian style resume.

Please, could anyone of the experienced members confirm this.

Hi, Guys!

I would like to know about PR landing.

1) Should I land from the province I got Nomination (Nova scotia - PNP) or I can do landing from the province where currently I am living (Alberta)?

2) If I do landing process from the city currently I am living that is Calgary, Can I ask the officer to send my PR card to my current address or Should I ask them to send directly to nova scotia address?

I am asking these questions because Since I am living in Alberta if all landing process would be done here that will give me some time for moving to Nova scotia until I get PR card.

Guys, I need your suggestion. I am waiting for your quick response. Thanks in advance.

SDKD: Spouse experience letter is required if you are claiming points for it

1) Should I land from the province I got Nomination (Nova scotia - PNP) or I can do landing from the province where currently I am living (Alberta)? You Can land anywhere but port of landing mention your destination is Nova scotia
2) If I do landing process from the city currently I am living that is Calgary, Can I ask the officer to send my PR card to my current address or Should I ask them to send directly to nova scotia address? You can fill the form for PR card to that place, but would advise to inform NSOI that you are landing in alberta for so and so reason and you will landing in NS on (date)
