Is it that Nova Scotia normally issues Nomination on Fridays ?

they dont have fix day as such but recently most of the nominations received on fridays

Probably sponsored by TGI Friday restaurants network :) so migrants celebrate nomination with them.

Hello Seniors,

Actually I am living in a country where there in no Canadian Embassy or consulate. So I have following questions -

(1) For stamping the visa on passport after 'Passport Request', should it be sent to a specific embassy or I can go to any Canadaian embassy in the world to get visa on my passport.
(2) How many days they give to get Visa stamped on passport ?
(3) I came to know that they will give 30 days to accept nomination. Will I be needed to accept it by email or on CIC EE profile ?
(4) Can the Medical be done from any of their authorised centres of CIC or it has to be done from any specific centre ?

1. Look here - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/apply-where.asp which visa office responsible for your location
2. No clue, other will clarify
3. In your CIC profile, there field appear "this province want to nominate you, will you accept - Yes/No" Make sure you dont confuse answer button due over-excitement :)
4. Medical is valid for 1 year, so if you think that in a year period from your medical you will cross canadian border - go ahead (for instance you strongly believe in nomination coming soon). About "Where" - here you go, only certified physician can do medical - http://www.cic.gc.ca/pp-md/pp-list.aspx

Hey guys, I contacted CIC yesterday and they gave me no info but they told me my documents aren't in any visa office yet and they are being processed in Ottawa, so can you please update the sheet ?

P.S. I also wanted you to know that my account is not stale, if I get PPR i will update you guys

Hi johny,

As far as I know, we don't need to go to Canadian Embassy. They have given this responsibility to private agencies like "VFS". We have to provide passport to VFS and they will get everything done. This is for India. May be in your city in India, their might be some other agency.
