Thanks, I'll take all that into consideration when drafting my response. As for the Whatsapp group and research done on jobs, do I need to show evidence of this?. I have actually applied to 1 or 2 jobs in Nova Scotia, do I need to show evidence of this too?

Hello seniors, please I need urgent help. I received a mail from Nova Scotia nominee officer and need I need to respond appropriately or else I may be denied. Please I need suggestions from anyone who has scaled through this before especially with the first question as I am not sure what kind of groups they are expecting me to have contacted.
Pls see the questions below:

1. Have you contacted any community groups or employers in Nova Scotia?
2. What research did you do on Nova Scotia prior to your application? Please provide your sources.
3. Why do you feel you will do well in Nova Scotia?
4. What is the status of your application to Prince Edward Island? Please provide correspondence
5. What factors led you to apply to PEI?
6. What was the purpose of your 2006 visit to Ontario?
7. Why did you choose to previously apply to the Federal Skilled Worker Program with the intent to settle in Alberta?

I have privately messaged you my response to NS for ADR. You might get some idea from that. As far as specific questions are concerned, just answer with facts i.e. of which you can give them a proof. Provide the officer with genuine reasons for you selection of Alberta. If anymore queries, i guess the seniors might be able to help you or someone who has faced such a situation.

Just stating the truth will work for sure. These guys are very nice. Don't worry, prepare the answer properly using my or someone else reference and everything would be fine.

Yes, long time, was busy with my documents. The PCC took me some time firstly, then after submission i waited for 6 months which ended in Mid February 2017. Then i sent an email to CIC (from their inquiry form online), as advised by Drajpoot also to inquire about why status had not changed on CIC Express entry account. Got a reply from them within 10-15 days i think, whereby they requested for further info. I think i triggered the processing by my query. They requested additional docs afterwards which i have submitted and just a few days back i uploaded all the requested docs. CIC also asked me to inform the immigration office where my visa will be processed by email that i have uploaded all docs requested and to give them my application number an UCI no. Now, i am waiting for response from CIC and Visa office.

So in my case it's nearly past 8 months since i submitted my application to CIC. So the 6 months timeline is for only 80% of applicants maybe and unfortunately i am not the case!!!

Hi Zakir,

If you got nomination then you can start applying for PCC, as sometimes it takes time. As for medical, you can wait when you get selected by CIC during next draw. As in my case the medical was quite quick.
