Yes, he lives in Alberta.

I haven't received nomination yet. What kind of questions are asked to you?

Hi, We're in the same boat, I have sisters in Alberta. They also asked me about Alberta vs NS, I have not responded yet, since I have yet to complete some papers they require. But with relatives in other provinces, they really ask about why NS....I hope we get our nominations!

Dear Friends,

Just one question i need to ask you all . After getting AOR what is the process ...Can anyone explain me and total how many months it will take after getting AOR still we get our canadian Visa on Passport .... :)

Thanks for your response .

After AOR, usually you wait till they contact you, about 3 or 4 weeks give or take, then they might ask for additional details, which you need to give them until they are satisfied with your application, then they decide. After you get nomination, you have to get an ITA, which depends on CIC, after ITA usually 6 months, give or take a few. :) :)

Hai friends...

Any new AOR??....after 20th applicant no news about AOR.... :(

Dear Friends,

I am happy to announce that yesterday I received the Golden Nomination e-mail ;D.......I would like to thank everyone for their best wishes during this waiting period and rest assured I am praying hard for everyone on this forum who is anxiously waiting for their AORs and Nominations - SDKD & Cian Stay Strong!!

I have some specific questions for seniors like Drajpoot & Others who have been through the process.

I would appreciate if you could let me please know:

1)As I have just been nominated yesterday will I be selected in the next draw.
2) How soon after the draw do we get an ITA?
3) Does the ITA specifically ask us to do the Medical and are we supposed to take our ITA copy to the Panel Physician?
4) Do we get a Case ID or Number or is our EE Profile Number our File Number?
5) Any prediction on when the next draw will be held? My children have to travel by the 18th of February for a school trip and I am hoping I can fix a date before that. I asked my PAnel Physician Office here in Kuwait if they can do upfront medical but it seems they are very primitive and the receptionist said that she needs me to bring a form of some kind - What form does she mean? Does it come with the ITA?

Looking forward to your early response and Thank you for all your help. :)

Congo pakimom,

1) Yes you will be selected in the next draw that might happen on 8th Feb.
2) As soon as the draw comes you receive an ITA in your email.
3) Its understood once you get an ITA, you need to take the print of your express entry ITA page to the panel of doctors. The assigned doctors can be find found from the CIC website. It is different in different cities.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/pp-md/pp-list.aspx
Look above and select your country you will find one.
4)Your file number remains your express entry number.
5)The form remains the same which is your ITA. Check your messages you will get that in the next draw, take the print of that page to the panel physician. As I said the next draw may happen on the 8th and 22th Feb, so just keep a look.

Good luck.
Ritz.

Hi friends,

A you know I got Nominated by Nova Scotia - Provincial nomination under demand express entry stream. So far my application processing time was within the projected period. Example - Nova Scotia office of Immigration said it will take about a year or more for my application to be assessed. And it happened exactly as they said.

I got ITA 4 months ago from CIC. And my application was officially accepted on 15 October, 2016. Three and a half months over. Still says - under processing. CIC indicates that they process applications in 6 months or less. But no promises.

Of late, I was browsing this forum and I noticed many have commented that Abu Dhabi Visa office is one of the slowest offices. I have decided to leave Abu Dhabi and go to my home country in about 3 months time from now. I am afraid whether or not my family and I will get the PR visas stamped in our Passports within the next 3 months time? I didn't have any doubt before but now after seeing Abu Dhabi office works at a slow pace I am slightly worried.

Friends, please share if any of you have applied from Abu Dhabi - UAE and how long they took for processing your applications from the time you submitted your apps to CIC.

And, if I move out of this country and go to my home country, is there any facility like submitting the passports to the local Canadian visa office in my home country and get our visas stamped (or) I have no option other than staying here until our visas get stamped?

Please share your experiences and suggestions.

Best,

Luder

Best,

Don't worry. If you move out of the country and you get PPR after that, you can raise a CSE and request a VO change. You will then receive instructions to submit your PPs to the VO responsible for the country that you are moving to.

Oh, thank you Mr. Raj.

That clears my doubt.
