Hello Everyone,

I have created profile on nova scotia website to apply under express entry but after login its showing that you can apply under express entry only if you have 1 year experience in nova scotia itself but in the minimum requirements section its mentioned either in canada or international. http://novascotiaimmigration.com/wp-content/uploads/AppGuide-NSNP-NSDEE-English.pdf

Can anyone senior please clear my doubt, I want to apply to Nova scotia in 2017 but I dont have canadian or Nova scotia experience.

They havent started taking new application for 2017. Right now they are processing 2015 applicants. For 2017 its not opened.

You can apply for Demand stream but you need 1 year experience in Canada or elsewhere. When the time they open for 2017, they will provide demand occupation list. If you are under that list (means your Profession) you can apply. Before that you have create Express Entry profile and also need to activate in job bank.

I sent my paper based application on 6 September 2015, got AOR in June 2016, then in November 2016 I was contacted by Nominee Officer requesting more information/documents and NOC duties mapping to reference letters. The process was really fast in November but took 14 months to get my nomination.

Dear Friends,

I am doing something really weird as most of the people are waiting for AOR or updates from NSOI but I am about the send a request to withdraw my application at NSOI.

My application has reached NSOI in Aug/2015 but now I decided to withdraw as I wanted to focus on my application in NBPNP.

My question is: Does anybody know how long does it take to get a confirmation from NSOI after sending mail to nsnp@novascotia.ca to withdraw an application?

If anyone used to withdraw your app in NSOI, please do me a favor and kindly share with me.
