I have my money in FD so need to take a savings account?? Guys please help..cool2409 said:Hi guys,
My sis is also NSNP applicant and she was asked to send additional docs. One of the documents was to show the funds. She has required funds as FD. She has sent letter from bank showing the proof of funds. She was again asked to show her saving account's past 3 months history, she did send but there was no required funds in saving accounts as the amount was saved in the form of FD. She was rejected on the grounds of insufficient funds in her account and was informed that her file has been closed. Friends please advise what can be done or what could have went wrong? can we do anything about it??
Validity of PCC varies from country to country.wisky said:What cic says here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/intake-complete.asp
"Medical results must be valid for six months at the time of application. In exceptional circumstances, processing offices may be flexible in accommodating these requirements where delays occur outside the control of applicants. See the document checklist below for details."
And about PCC here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/intro.asp
"For the country you currently live in, the police certificate must be issued no more than six months before you apply.
For countries where you have lived for six months or more, the police certificate must be issued after the last time you lived in that country."
Correct me if I wrong

Hi Rohit,Rohit219 said:Hi Rob,
Does it mean Last UK PCC issued in July 2015 is no longer valid? If no, do you think we should initiate the process for UK & Indian PCC right away being Oct'15 applicant. Please Advice
Thanks

This is quite shocking to us also. Never heard such thing before. Even we hardly have any savings in our bank accounts. All the POF we got is in form of FD's and Now this seems to be a Matter of Concern. Guys Please Advicecool2409 said:Hi guys,

Thanks for your advice Rob. We haven't received the AOR yet. Being an Oct'15 applicant we are hoping the AOR to arrive by the end of this month. Hence I thought to initiate the UK and Indian PCC process right away without waiting any further for the AOR. What Say?Rob2K said:Hi Rohit,
Thats right, your UK PCC will no longer be valid. Did you get your AOR yet ? If yes, probably you can initiate UK PCC anytime from now, For India pls do so only after you receive your Nomination.
Now, in my case, I have worked in total 3 NOCs:Your work experience in Canada or international must be:
• at least one year (1,560 hours), full-time or an equal amount in part-time
• paid work (volunteer work and unpaid internships do not count)
• in the same occupation, and
• within the last 10 years before your application to NSOI and at application for permanent residence to CIC,
and
• in NOC 2011 Skill Type 0, Skill Level A or B (if no arranged employment, paid work experience must be
one of the opportunity occupations listed in Appendix 1)
But expiry only applies for people still living in the country. As long as your passport shows that you've left the country BEFORE the issuance of the certificate and it doesn't show any new entry, there's no reason to apply for a new one. Unless, of course, you know someone who had an issue of that kind...Rob2K said:Hi Rohit,
