Is that short weeks of visits coming to 6 months in total? If not then you don't need PCC for that period. Here is the info from CIC website...
.......
Who needs a police certificate?
In general, you and all the people in your family who are 18 or older need to get a police certificate. You must get one from each country or territory where you have spent six or more months since the age of 18. For example:

if you visited, worked or lived in a country for two months, left for a few years, then returned for four months, that counts as spending six months there. In this case, you would need a certificate.

Hello people I also have a situation and need your quick suggestions.
I live in UAE since my childhood. But then in 2002 to 2009 i went bak to my home country for work and studies and finally departured in 2009. After that i went to my country only for a week or two in 2011 then in 2013 then 2015. During these visits, I stayed hardly for max 2 weeks.
So should my pcc cover only the period from 2002 to 2009 when i stayed continously or it would also cover those short visits. Plz advise.

So , like I was in New Zealand from 2009 to 2011 on study visa. I need to get the PCC from that country. At the time I asked my consultant she told me that there is a form to get the PCC from other country and I just have to fill that form and submit it online. The CIC itself will get that verified. Only thing I have to do is get a PCC from My own country i.e. from India itself. Is that so?

Hi all,
Please does anyone have an idea when the NS pnp will reopen? Is it going to be electronic or paper based? Do I need a police report at the time of filling in my application? How can i prove intent to settle in NS?

Currently NS is processing 2015 applicants. Due to a lot of backlog, it won't open this year. We can assume that next year in 2017 after march they may open again. Further, it will be electronic. At the same time, you don't need to submit your PCC while filing your interest of application to NS. To prove intent to settle in NS, you have to support your point of explanation why you consider it the best to settle in that province. Also, you should not have any link in other province, if you are applying to reside in NS, as hiding the same would weaken your intention of settlement plan.

That is why I said that we can assume it. Because there are lot of backlogs whose applications are still in process

Hi
My name is Luder. I sent my paper application during the end of August 2015 to NSNP as demand express entry candidate. On June 8, 2016 I received a mail from them asking me whether I want my application to be evaluated or I have decided to stop pursuing NSNP.

Since I was waiting eagerly for their correspondence, I responded immediately asking them to evaluate my application. Since then I have not received anything from them. 2 months passed!!

On the other hand my CIC express entry had become ineligible. I cannot clearly understand why. The CIC's pdf letter says various possible reasons. But as I checked my submitted details, there is only one thing short. I have not updated the funds requirement and it was few hundred CADs short. I wanted to update but the CIC profile is not allowing me to do that. I checked thru their questions section, and understood once ineligible status comes I need to create a new profile with updated details. I also found that the Express entry profile had expired 2 weeks ago as it had reached one year from the effective date.

Now, my questions and doubts are.,

1. I'm afraid NSOI had decided to reject my application as the express entry profile number I have mentioned in the paper application is no longer valid.

2. If NSOI can still consider my application and I create a new express entry in CIC with new number and new job validation number, will NSOI update the details in my paper application and consider my application for evaluation and processing if complete, according to the same order it came to their table among other applications?

3. I'm sure CIC has no provision to reactivate an expired profile. They have a reasonable answer. Open new one if you still qualify.

4. But with a new Express entry I don't know how NSOI will view that. If they say 'start with a clean slate', I will not even be able to start! Because I qualify only for demand express entry in NSNP. And now Demand EE in Nova Scotia is suspended. Don't know when it will be opened. And if opened and I submit an application I suppose it will go thro the then order and I may be have to wait another year to have my application just to reach their table!?

These are my questions for now.,

I request if any of you have been in a similar situation., friends, please share how it went and guide me what to do. And experts, even never in a similar situation I believe you guys know how to manage cases like mine, I mean, what to do first, second or not to do something and so on.

So please suggest.,

Regards

Luder

Hi there,

The email you received is a Pre-AOR email asking if you wish to proceed and that you have replied your interest in still migrating to Nova Scotia. That is fine and you don't need to worry about your Express Entry or Job seeker status you have mentioned on the paper application. Shortly by October you will receive an AOR email asking you to provide

1. New Proof of Fund from your Bank

2. New Express Entry and Job seeker code because most of the applicants will be crossing the expiry date of Express entry. Here you can let them know the new EE/job seeker.

3. Noc Comparison table to compare your job roles with that of your NOC 2011.

No need to worry much, when they sent you an AOR you will get a chance to let them know your current situation.

He will receive AOR this month not October, going by trend and since NS confirmed, they are treating August already, please expect Your AOR this month and Nomination a month after.

You must need to have PCC from NewZealand which you need to submit wiht your application once you will submit your application for PR.
I do not know what your consultant suggest you but you must have PCC from India and PCC from NewZealand or any country where you lived more than 6 months

D

Hello Joefash, they haven't come upto August applications yet, since a lot of July end applicants are still waiting for their AOR including me. But you can say they will start processing August very soon.
Good luck...

You are right drajpoot, in fact I have never heard of any such online forms which are submitted and CIC verifies it automatically.
I mean where did that consultant get this information from . Is it something that we are not aware with cuz CIC clearly says on their website that we need to provide PCC for every country where we have lived for more then 6 months, and it is a straight forward thing. I don't know where did she get this idea from ?
