With all this wait i couldn't resist myself and ended up sending an email to nsoi asking for my application update.. its been more then a year now...

I had already spoken to one of the officer 2 days ago and he said they are prcoessing july end applications only and we should hear from them in some point of time.
I don't know if they have large number of July end applications.

Dear Mass after your Aor you will communicate with them only through emails and even after nominations and ITA you will submit your application online. So scan all documents send by email. Courier is not at all required.

I am July applicant and got AOR on 7/29 then responded 7/30. How long is it going to take before I get nomination.

I have a question regarding PCC, probably from folks who have been through CIC stage. I studied and lived in the UK for about 16 months and departed January 2015. I obtained a PCC certificate from ACRO UK last year July in preparation for CIC stage if I was nominated. The certificates as I was told by ACRO officer is valid for only 3 months if it will be used for Immigration. However on CIC website it states For "countries where you have lived for six months or more, the police certificate must be issued after the last time you lived in that country" (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/intro.asp).The last time I lived in the United Kingdom was 01/2015. The certificate was issued after the last time I lived in that country.

Do I need to apply for another PCC from ACRO after nomination? or the one I already obtained in July 2015 is sufficient?

I know I need to renew the PCC for my current country of residence if more than 3 months but do I need to renew the UK PCC as well? I have not returned since my departure.

The answer is NO, you don't need to renew it since you are not residing in the UK again, the one you have already shown what they needed

Hello people I also have a situation and need your quick suggestions.
I live in UAE since my childhood. But then in 2002 to 2009 i went bak to my home country for work and studies and finally departured in 2009. After that i went to my country only for a week or two in 2011 then in 2013 then 2015. During these visits, I stayed hardly for max 2 weeks.
So should my pcc cover only the period from 2002 to 2009 when i stayed continously or it would also cover those short visits. Plz advise.
