I have a very basic question. When PPR been placed, where we should send our passport? to CIC or our local VISA office?

Hello Everyone

Information regarding Proof of funds:

Submit your bank statement which should contain at least transaction of last 6 months. This statement covers your current balance too in your account. and quite enough to fulfill requirements of CIC and NSOI both.
But if you can get letter from your bank mentioning following details then it would be an additional support to your application:
Opening date of your account
Current balance of your account.
Account number
Type of account
account holder name

Additionally you may provide same letter from all your banks in which you have saving accounts or current accounts which would give more strength to your application.

Please, I want to know if I must have had the required POF in my account 6 months before submitting to CIC
2. Can I use Fixed Deposit for CiC.
3. If NSOI ask for POF update can I used Fixed Deposit, eventhough account statement was used in submitting application initially.

You need to send your passport to your local visa office.

I have applied for Nova Scotia PNP in July 2015, sent my application in July 7,2015.
Yesterday night i received a response from Nova Scotia Office of Immigration.
Finally after 11 months there's some hope.
I have 337 points and applied for EE in Jan 2015.
Its a good sign and i'm happy.

Well the main reason to provide 6 month statement is to assure CIC that the fund which you have in your account is yours. It's not something you borrow from someone for 2-3 weeks just to show CIC. I hope you understand my mean. Additionally 6 month statement does not say that in last 6 month you must maintain the required amount each month it could be more than that or could be a bit less than that but on the day you will submit the statement to CIC it must be a bit more than required amount.
So incoming and outgoing transaction will show that you have running account and you have enough money all the time.

It could be stable like if you did not have any transaction in that account for last 6 month but you had a proof that you are maintaining the amount in your account since last 6 month or more.

Personally I always submit 1 year bank statement of each bank account I have anytime they requested which strongly support my application that I always keeping required amount to settle myself in Canada.

I hope now you got to know what you must need to do or not, as it's something you need to show someone by papers that it's your money not anyone else and you are allowed to submit as many as proof you can relevant to that.

Hey sorry i just misprint in hurry. I sent my application on July 9, 2015 by courier and it reached and received by nova scotia on July 13,205.
I'm sure you will get response soon. It's just one day difference. I get their email at midnight around 12.15
They just asked that before processing your application we want to know did get nominated by any other PNP? So i reply them that i did not get any other nomination yet.
Now they will start my processing and my consultant is saying you will get nomination in 15 days.
So stay positive you will surely get response from them.
