Hi skywalker, do u think NS is better than NB? Please advise.

Having relation in another province is not big percentage of being rejected. But for sure you must have strong reasons and proof to satisfy your nominee officer that you have true intention to settle in Nova Scotia.

My husband has an aunt in BC vancouver and his other relatives in US and nominee officer asked me to provide proof that we will settle in NS and not use it for family reunification. I re-wrote my settlement plan and made a research to prove that My family really intends to settle in NS. They gave me 10 days to provide additional information. I got my nomination but it took them 3 months in total to make a decision. So for those waiting, please be patient. When you send them additional documents and your email didn't bounce back, that means they received it and just wait. Try not to ask them for the status of your application. They will make a decision in their own time. Goodluck and all the best to all of us.

Hi SDS, I saw your previous posting saying that you've already got PPR in May 2015. But in the shread, you say you are an applicant of NS ee demand and files received by NSNP in July 2015. Which posting is true? Or your ID are being used by two different persons? Or you are asking question regarding NS ee demand stream on behalf of your friend? PLEASE CLARIFY otherwise you are really annoying!

Yes I got my PPR in May 2015 and now I am in Torornto. I am helping my friend who showed me the path to come here. Her application got returned under FSW 2014 scheme as she couldn't complete IELTS earlier. She has no time to check forum and this forum helped me lot to do my application process.

And my friend got positive reply from NS visa office today saying her nomination has been approved.

That's a personal question. Both provinces are very similar. I think you would find more diferences between different cities in one same provinces than between NS and NB as a whole.

The only significant difference that I know is that NB is bilingual and, therefore, there are many more French communities there. People who are already living there might be able to answer such question better than I, though.
