Hi,

Thought the below will help some out there looking for the approximate timeframe:

21-Oct-15 - Nomination from NSOI
23-Oct-15 - ITA received
09-Dec-15 - Documents submitted to CIC
10-Dec-15 - Schedule 4 & 4A requested
12-Dec-15 - Schedule 4 & 4A forms submitted
14-Dec-15 - Medicals passed
26-Feb-16 - Passport request received
03-Mar-16 - PR Visa stamped on Passport

Best,

To all the seniors out there!!!! A clarification required please...

If we are being nominated by a particular province and we end up getting our PR, does it mean we are required to work only in that province for a specified period of time?

Or is it required to just land in that province when we first go to Canada, and we are free to go places for employment after landing?

Can someone clarify me on this please?

Thanks in advance.

Hello all

After nomination from Nova Scotia in PNP - Skilled Worker (not for Express Entry).
Can you tell me if CIC require IELTS test?
I am nominated from Nova Scotia for Permanent Resident but I don't have IELTS. I applied on March 11, 2016 for PR.
I have job offer from employer in Halifax, NS (NOC Code 6322).
If you can help me about this!

albani or anyone else who applied for NSNP - Skilled Worker, could you please tell me how long it took for you to get a nomination after you applied? I'm going to apply next week, getting docs ready, and wonder how long they will review my application.

Thanks!

I applied for Nomination on December 31, 2015. On February 09, 2016 I received the nomination under PNP-Skilled Worker (Noc 6322). I have job offer and contract from my brother who lives in Halifax, NS.
I had a lawyer. The lawyer tell me the processing time right now is more rapid.
My Confirmation of Nomination number is : 2016-NS-XX-0043.

Are you even on the express entry pool of candidates already?

I guess not, because if you were you would know that CIC requests IELTS for it. The only thing CIC won't ask of you, as you hvae a job offer, from your brother, is proof of funds.

So yes, you will need IELTS and ECA done. Getting nominated won't do you any good if you are not eligible for the pool of candidates.

I am not nominated for Express Entry. I am nominated under NSNP - Skilled Worker (Noc code 6322). In my confirmation of nomination says: this nomination is not valid for Express Entry. I have applied to CIC for PR on paper application.
I don't understand what is ECA.
In the application guide for PR (paper application) for NOC 0,A and B the IELTS test is non mandatory.
My Noc code is 6322 (cook) under category B.
Thank you for your reply.

July Applicants, please let us know if you received your pre-AOR or if you have any news. Thanks heaps!! God bless you all! :)[/color]

I found a job offer, too, and my employer is waiting for me until October 2016, so I need to be fast :).
