Can someone advice me on the information regarding country-wise/city-wise centers to have an upfront medical test done?

I believe there are specific medical test centers recognized by CIC.

Thanks,

Dear All. I am NOC 2174. During the last 8 years, I have relocated to 4 different cities because of jobs. I have all the appointement letters, release letters, salary slips, etc for all of them because I got them when I was with them. However, its very difficult to get reference letters from HR for past organizations now. Some are even unwilling to give it.

So I got the roles and responsibilities on plain paper for past companies and got in touch with my ex-managers to sign them who were thankfully in the same organization. Have also attached a photocopy of their business cards/office IDs along with that paper. For my current organization, I have got it on a company letterhead. Will my entire exp be acceptable ? Does anyone have experience of doing it this way ? I remember during the FSW period, in the work reference letter section, they mentioned a few points for valid letters, where they had specified business cards as a method. But since I have never done it myself I am not sure.

My application reached on 17th March. And I am getting a bit worried if my work reference letters will be accepted or not. Please share your experiences if you have one.

No Problem if Experience certificates are issued by the Department Managers/Head of Departments on letterhead. Make sure that the Contact information should be on the Certificate.

My one of Experience certificates issued by our Head and also Project Manager.

Be Cool. Your will be fine.

I received AOR at the end of September and on 5th October I received am email from the Nova Scotia officer as given below
Dear xxxxx

The Nova Scotia Office of Immigration (NSOI) is in the process of assessing your application made to the Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP) Nova Scotia Demand: Express Entry Stream.

In order to continue processing your application and ensure you meet the eligibility requirements for the stream, the following additional information is required:
· Based on my assessment so far, you have been awarded 66 points, which does not meet the minimum required points of 67 to be eligible for Nova Scotia Demand. Your points are as follows:
Age – 12;
Education – 21;
English – 24;
Work experience – 9;
Adaptability-0

Regards,

Nominee Officer AW
Nova Scotia Office of Immigration

I applied under NOC 2173 .

I have experience of 1.9 years under the designation Software Engineer .
Currently I am working in a job that has a different title(Buying Assistant) but the job roles that I perform are same as that of NOC 2173
I work in UAE and thus the designation given here will be based on availability of the post during time of visa stamping.

As per the employment letter given by my current company, the designation is Buying Assistant but I have also got a letter from my reporting manager on white paper(with no letterhead ) stating that my current roles match that of NOC 2173.

Kindly advise if this would be enough for us to get considered for 2 years experience under NOC 2173?
Should be on letterhead. Request from your reporting Manager to issue on the company letterhead. Tell him that there will be no issue for him. If NSP wants to verify they will contact your Manager.

Try to get. Do not give up. All the best.

Managers cannot issue certificate on letterhead in my previous organisations. Only HR can provide letterhead. My manager has provided it on a plain paper with his signature and business card which has his contact details and position in the organisation. Would you have any idea if that would work ?

I do have it on a letterhead issued by my HR from my present organisation. But the letters from my older organisations are like that.

Dear All,

I will be submitting my application to NS next week, can anyone help clarify in the NSNP application 100 form item F whether I need to specify distant relatives in canada also? I.e 2nd degree cousin

Also regarding funds, I can just submit my 6 mos banking statements correct? But what if the amount is not static because in this account is also where I do most of my day to day transactions. Please advise.

Thanks in advance.

I have not seen such cases. However, depends on case officer. Letterhead will be more stronger than the white paper. Visa officer may suspect. As you knew, business cards can any one get.

Do you have company stamp on the experience certificates issued by your Managers? This may be helpful. Something is better than nothing.

Just wait and see. Be positive.

I am sure, if NSP need they will comeback for any clarification. But prepare for answer.

1. I strongly advise you to specify if you have any relatives in Nova Scotia only. Do not specify other than Nova Scotia. There are many cases where visa officer may suspect that you may move later on.

Nova Scotia PNP purpose you are required to stay there other than any where. Choose Yes if you have anybody Nova Scotia unless No.

2. You can submit 6 months bank statement, ensure that the required funds are available at the time of submission based on your family sige. I am sure after AOR you will be requested by NSP to provide updated Bank statement and also they may request your Credit card statement.

All the best

They don't have company stamps as Managers don't have access to stamps. However, they are notarized as I have sent photocopies to NSNP.

Hello Everyone,

I am planning to apply for the NSPNP this month. My Question is that Is it Ok to submit my application at this time of the year or should I apply next year in January?? I heard the immigration officers are still dealing with march applications, so is it worth to apply right now or should i wait for next year?

Regards.

I have seen some people saying that you need bank statements for 6 months. However, the application guide clearly says that they need from the last 3 months. Of course it wouldn't hurt to provide more, but here is what the guide says:

Financial Information
For the principal applicant, spouse or common-law partner, and all accompanying dependents. You may provide one or a combination of the following:
 Letter from financial institutions indicating the balance and transactional history for the last three months.
 Financial institutions’ statements demonstrating access to transferable, liquid funds and assets.
 Investment portfolio.
 Mortgage and other loans (both must include principal and interest owed).
Do not include the value of real estate or jewellery, vehicles and other personal assets.

So far, their position is that current applicants will remain in the queue for the next year. Therefore, waiting for January might only put your application behind others. Anyway, sending now will only cost you the posting fee, copies and maybe expenses with translations of some specific documents, like bank statements. If they change their strategy, you can send another application later.

Dear All

I have got immigrant visa and want to go NS on Feb 2016. Do I need to pay landing fee before going NS? Or is there any other procedure need to do before going NS. I am going from Bangladesh and I have to land in Montreal or Toronto first and then NS. And my immigration process would in Montreal or Toronto and then connecting flight to NS. Can you please advise me how long it would take the immigration process so that I could arrange the connecting flight accordingly.

Please help me.

Thanks
Zahid

I had the same situation as you and I addressed it the same as you had and I had no issues. At first I did not present any letter but when the nomination officer asked for it, I sent an email explaining that I was unable to get a letter from the company. The nomination officer responded and one of the options/he provided was a letter from my past supervisor.

I was nominated 3 days after submitting that letter.

Best of luck.
