Good day all,

I am still awaiting AOR however, I want experienced people in the house to give me information of what could cause refusals. I want to know what factors could be responsible for refusals to guide against it.
thank you all

Kindly advise on this my enquiry. Thank you.

Hello All,

I am newbe to this forum and NS process. I mail my application to NS and they received it on OCT 2nd. Please let me know what will be the next steps.

Few questions:
How I will get my file (application) number?

Approx what time they take to send message to the applicant stating that we have received your application?

How they will contact me (email/Post)?

what should I expect from them for the next step?

How I can submit missing documents to them?

I must keep patience as they are still processing January to March applicants. Although I would like to know the next action of item.

Thanks in advance.

Hi yeyeoba,

If your application meets explained criteria in app guide then you should focus on settlement plan and your work experience reference letter.
By settlement plan you should convince the officer that you have enough reason to stay in NS.
And your described duties should match most main duties according to NOC2011 guide.

I have sent an e-mail to NSOI, and they were only able to say that nominations, currently, are taking 8 months or more, due to high demands, although they cannot guarantee when recent applications will be processed, either if they will be processed in more or less time than the referred 8 months. They were clear, though, in stating that they received "many more applications" than 650, and they don't have an intake cap for NS Demand (only for NS Experience). Applications not processed in the current year will remain in the queue for the next year. It seems like they're waiting for the total number of pending applications to plead CIC for more nominations.

Thanks for your good information.

You will receive an AOR e-mail stating that they've received your application and it has passed the completeness check and in queue for review. Your application number will be in there.

Approx what time they take to send message to the applicant stating that we have received your application?
Depending on which stream you take, it may be months as many people have been told that it will take 8 months right now. Just to give you perspective people who applied in February/March are only receiving nomination now.

How they will contact me (email/Post)?
Email or Phone

what should I expect from them for the next step?
AOR email initially with email/phone follow-ups from the NSOI officer reviewing your application

How I can submit missing documents to them?
I believe you can email them as attachments but you may also be required to submit physical copies. (don't quote me on this)

I must keep patience as they are still processing January to March applicants. Although I would like to know the next action of item.

Thanks in advance.

Is this still open? (or) It has reached the quota...

It is open, but the quota for this year was almost certainly reached. Applications sent now will remain in the queue for processing next year. If next year's quota allows it, obviously.

Hi All,

I'm new on this thread because I'm exploring Nova Scotia PNP since my crs score is only 400. May I know why people here choose Nova Scotia for their application instead of more popular and bigger provinces?

I would like to know more of Nova Scotia because of it's cheaper cost of living as my main reason of choice.

Appreciate everyone's feedback.

Thanks
