thanks naredont for the list.
I received nomination today. so hoping to receive Ita in nxt draw.
i am expecting new baby in three weeks. so it will take atleast three months to make passport of my new born child in my home country. so is it compulsory to include child passport upfront or only birth certificate works to start. if u ve some idea pls suggest and other members as well pls help if u can.
thanks all n good luck who r waiting. u ll be thr soon. ve faith.

Firstly, Congrats for your Nomination and advance wishes for new baby.

If you want to include your child in the PR application. You are required to upload Birth Certificate and Passport - Mandatory. Both documents are required. You can not submit without these documents.

Option 1 - Take a print out of Your ITA after you received it. I am sure there will be option to get Passport on urgent basis. You can show them ITA as a document evidence to get your new baby passport at the earliest. Normally in india will take five working days. Because passports for new born baby will not require any criminal checks. They only will check if Parents have passports and other documentation requirements.

Option 2 - Submit PR application before three weeks prior to your baby born. Then, submit later on to CIC as through updated information by providing all documents such as Birth certificate and Passport etc.

I strongly advise you to go for option 1. This is possible if you convenience and made request by attaching your ITA to the Passport officer. This is possible.

All the best

HI Naredont. .. referring to the certificates , WES reports for my wife only if I wanna claim points, but If I didn't want to do so will I still need to have this report? Let me know pls

Not required to submit, If you do not want to claim Points for your Wife under Qualifications. But, make sure to delcare her qualifications under her Personal History where it is required to inform what she has done from 18 Years.

Everyone should write their personal history from 18 Years. All the activities(Studies, Work, Leisure and Unemployment etc)

All the best

I have sent an e-mail to NSOI, and they were only able to say that nominations, currently, are taking 8 months or more, due to high demands, although they cannot guarantee when recent applications will be processed, either if they will be processed in more or less time than the referred 8 months. They were clear, though, in stating that they received "many more applications" than 650, and they don't have an intake cap for NS Demand (only for NS Experience). Applications not processed in the current year will remain in the queue for the next year. It seems like they're waiting for the total number of pending applications to plead CIC for more nominations.

Hi,

Did they clearly mention that don't have an intake cap for NS Demand ????

Recently they just did add extra 300 spaces to NS Demand and NS experience categories!

Hope those who have recently submitted applications or are about to submit are processed within this year!

Alhamdulillah, I received the ITA on 2nd October, draw 18.

Hope, please update the sheet as it is already updated with wrong ITA date

Congrats everybody who got ITA and nomination.

If your score is high enough where you're sure that you'll get an ITA do it before. If it's around 450 or less, I would personally wait until I get an ITA.

This is exactly what they answered regarding the intake cap for the NS Experience (750):

"750 total applications will be taken in and then no more applications accepted. The 650 cap on nominations is a different issue."

And that is their answer for my inquire about the intake cap for the NS Demand:

"We have received many more applications than 650, we have not cap on the total number of applications we will received only on what we can nominate this year. If an application is not processed this year under our 650 cap then it will remain in the queue to be assessed in the new year when CIC gives the provinces their new quota of nominations."

In short, they're going to continue taking new applications for the stream, but it is almost certain that they will be processed next year, although they're not able to give more details about the processing times, as the quota for the next year is still not defined.

Hello All,

I am thinking of applying to Nova Scotia PNP and want to know how should I answer the question"tell us briefly about your plans to
settle in Nova Scotia and your future here".What all things can I include in reply to this question?

Also how is the scope of IT professinals in Nova Scotia?

Hi,

Got it. Thanks for the clarification. :)

At-least there's one positive thing... each and everyone of our applications (no matter how late one submitted this year) will be considered for nomination either this or most probably next year provided all the documents are in correct order and the applicant is meeting the eligibility requirements.

But the negative thing... for those who submitted the applications recently .. say after Sept. 2015 (or later)... it can mean a long frustrating wait for nearly 9-10 months, before one can actually get a decision on nomination.

Good day all,

I am still awaiting AOR however, I want experienced people in the house to give me information of what could cause refusals. I want to know what factors could be responsible for refusals to guide against it.
thank you all

First of all, congratulations! Both for the baby and the nomination.

By looking at the spreadsheet, I have noticed that you're from Australia. As your country is the plan B for a considerable number of people on this forum (including myself), you might be able to help some of us on this life-changing decision.

Australia is regarded by many as the "tropical Canada". I understand this is a poor simplification, but I can't help noticing that both countries are similar in size (on both dimensions and population), have similar average income, similar cultures, economies, excellent educational and health systems, the same form of government (even the same monarch!), and a lot of other similarities. Except, of course, for the climate!

I am not saying that I don't see advantages in Canada (like no giant crocodiles or huntsman spiders ;D), but, other than maybe an unparalleled love for snow, what are your main reasons to get into all that trouble and move to a place so far away?

Can someone please reply to my query?
