Thanks for your response, it is an eye opener for a sleepy head like me.

I'm wondering what to do now, is there any other PNP where there are any chances for me?

Hi areise!

Where is the source that the cap has already reached to 200? You are making me nervous
One member of this group has share his nomination number which is 175. So we can consider another 20 nominations more than his number because of the applicants who are not in this forum. Its a approximate figure not actual.

If Ive got the nomination is that mean that im already safe? Or should it be an ITA?
If you get nomination then you are safe.

I am quite optimistic for Applicants till Mid March 2015.
I recently received my nomination its just half way mark ... at 175 nominations
And i do believe the number of applications after Jan 20th did cool a bit...(meaning the applications received by NS office are not in bulk ..... but less than when the program opened.

They are still 175 nominations yet to be provided so i see a huge chance of Feb applicants to make it comfortably.
Keep your spirits high..... delay in nomination or AOR does not mean they have received all applications and now they are evaluating to close.
But it means they have a huge backlog of cases... I see Jan 14th and Jan 15th applicants are yet to evaluated (based on communication from my friends)..

Without clearing Jan 14th and Jan 15th backlogs, I do not see a case for them to provide AOR for Feb applicants.. (So there is a pause in AOR for Feb applicants).
I have received nomination after 2 months of submitting additional info... I am Jan 15th applicant and received nomination letter few days back (not even a week)...
I myself know 2+ more cases from Jan 14th and Jan 15th who are waiting to hear from NS office... they just now submitted additional info.
Most of the officers have taken a long vacation (being a summer time).... they usually tend to be out of office (winter was over for them in Feb) that may have created a huge backlog.

Keep hope....

And stay clam.... I am very hopeful till Mid March applicants... considering FEB month has less number of days and applications received or mentioned in the spreadsheet.

I would also like to mention that if the applicant receives an AOR (Acknowledgement of receipt) from NOVA SCOTIA, no matter how many months it takes... you just made into the list of 350 eligible nominations..

Always remember .....receiving AOR means you are added in the 350 eligible nomination list..
So don't worry if it takes months or years to get a decision.....

They (the officer) have to take a decision if you are nominated or not....and they will take it...

All applicants, if you receive AOR.....UR in nomination eligible list (350 nominations)....

Just an example....
Lets say you received AOR July 15th 2015 and in the nova scotia website if they update that they are not receiving any applications further(on Aug 17th 2015)..
Since you already received AOR you will be evaluated within those 350 nomination.... and a decision will be pronounced.. (positive or negative)..

Hope this clarifies.

Dear varma

thank you for sharing your idea. Can you estimate somehow(having connection with Jan applicants or ...) how many Jan apps haven't got nomination yet? it lets know about remaining space for apps received after Jan.

I submitted my application package a few weeks back. Will I ever receive a response from them if I`m not part of the 350 cap?
If I don`t receive an answer by early January, should I reapply?

Thanks bud

Hello hope..

Its too hard to say, but let me predict, that considering the backlog of applications from mid Jan month to end of Jan month.
I believe 50 more nominations will be added to the list.
Say 175 + 50 = 225 nominations near (assuming Jan applicants completely are covered).

Just now news. One person from Jan 14th got nominated.... ebi from Iran.
Lets wait and see his nomination number.

As per experts opinion applicant who applied within mid march15 can get nomination for caps 350. It is hard to say whether you can hear from them or not but keep up your hope. If the number of nomination reach to 350 then the chances to hear from NSOI is very poor and previous year they just return all documents to the applicant. However, we are bit confused that they have not declared any end/final date for application submission.
If I don`t receive an answer by early January, should I reapply?
Just wait and keep your all documents ready.
