Guys! Is this program still open?
rajkamalmohanram,

As some other member commented that NSNP is still accepting applications, but they have only 350 nominations to give and it was opened in Jan-2015.
Don't you think almost 7 months have gone and definitely they must have received enough of applications to suffice 350 nominations.

I seen your NOC in your timeline.. it is 2174 and I suggest you apply to PEI or NBPNP. Both of these provinces are faster to give PNP nominations to IT professionals.

PEI link is here: http://www.gov.pe.ca/immigration/index.php3?number=1052516&lang=e

and NBPNP is here: http://www.welcomenb.ca/content/wel-bien/en/immigrating_and_settling/how_to_immigrate/new_brunswick_provincialnomineeprogram/New_Brunswick_express_entry.html

Pls check additional criteria NBPNP introuced in July-2015.

You may qualify in Third Priority Applicants: Restricted Submission Period.
It is mentioned like below:
we will accept applications from professionals with experience in the following occupations:

- Information technology: programmers, analysts, technical customer support, sales
- Business analysts
- Retail trade managers
- Hospitality managers, chefs with formal professional education
- Manufacturing managers
- Industrial mechanics
- Industrial electricians
- Bookkeepers
- Translators (English-French)
- Financials analysts and accountants (certified in Canada)

Dear Munjal,
This sounds good especially owing to the fact that time has elapsed since provinces started nominating candidates. But what is the cost implication of sending an application to either of these provinces seeking for nomination when one has already sent an application to NS for nomination?

I perused those links and found out that their system maybe faster since one is given an opportunity to send a completed form as an email to them. Then, there in, you provide your EE profile no and jobseeker code no. So, back to my question, what is the cost implication( I don't mean monetary cost). Second, since all provinces are give a cap across boards, what is the latest nomination so far(if you know) and you mentioned IT professionals as being given preference, are they the only ones?

Hope you got all my queries correctly? Thanks

Thanks a ton munjal!! :)

Anyway, I'm planning to apply in September. Do you know if the PNP s that you have mentioned will still be alive? Or is it advisable to wait till January and then select PNP s because the quotas will be available again?

1. Did you get any letter to do the medical exam or how is the procedure to do the medical and what should I upload after the medical examination?

2. I did my PCC in April 2015, hope this is valid still as PCC is now valid for 6 months..

3. I shifted to new place last month.. Do I have to submit any address proof for the new address?

4. There is no option to upload the nomination letter. Any idea where to upload the nomination letter?
