Hi Inshaa! My consultant said that there is no limit. Is it first come for serve basis?

If you are going to assess my timeline do i have a huge chance that im one of the 350 immigrants for 2015? Here is my timeline.

Ryan, I am not sure why consultant told you that there is no cap. You can Google out the details and it is clearly mentioned that the cap is 350 and of course it is based on first come first serve basis. Hope you trust this forum and members.

Regarding your application, most probably you will be in the cap, if God wishes because it's not that clear how many nominations are being done. Pray for the best. Hopefully, you will get the nomination soon.

Regarding the nomination timeliness, you can refer the NSNP spread sheet but usually between 1 to 3 months depending on the application satisfaction by the case officer.

What happens next, even I am not aware. Hope for the best.

I got a mail from NSOI on 23rd saying that they have started processing my application. But it's an 'Intend to refuse' mail. They are asking for additional documents.
Please update the spread sheet. My application reached there on jan 29th.

Hi Inshaa and Novamove!

My consultant said that it is hard to know or predict when will I get the nomination email. However, my application is already on que so I have to wait for a month. They also said that if i have the nomination for acceptance it is a huge chance that application is successful but he reminds me also that I should be healthy for the medical or else it might affect the application.

One more thing, they cannot also anticipate the moves of the Nova Scotia due to their program is very different few years ago.

The statement in bold is incorrect. NS stuck with the 150 cap they did not, and do not have the authority to add more to the cap. Caps are defined at the federal level, negotiated with the provinces. Once it is set for the year it is set!. In rare instances, the feds may allow re-allocation of caps to different sub categories BUT overall provincial cap is same (example is when..for example, 50 spots for graduate stream is allocated to skilled labor stream but the overal labor allocation is still the same)

Thanks for the prompt reply. I forgot the site where it states that there is an increase in cap. Let us forget it because it is past. Let 's focus on the future.
