Hi.

I am out. I received a refusal email saying that I didn't satisfy Adaptability and Intention to Settle in Nova Scotia Criteria.

I got refused because I applied for FSW 2014 and the intended destination was Vancouver.
I explained why I applied for NSNP this time. Anyway, it didn't work.

I don't know whether to apply for another PNP in a different province or just to wait for NSNP 2016 to be opened.
And I am afraid if I applied for a different PNP(i.e New Brunswick) and got refused for the same reason.



My timelines are as follows.
- 1/12 : App. Sent(Total Points 67 - Age 9, English 20)
- 1/14 : App. Received
- 4/3 : AOR email Received
- 4/8 : EE Profile No. and Job Seeker Validation Code Sent
- 4/19(my birthday) : EE Profile became ineligible
- 5/30 : Created New EE Profile with my new IELTS results(Total Points 67 - Age 8, English 21)
- 6/1 : New EE Profile No. and Job Seeker Validation Code Sent
- 6/5 : Additional Information Requested
- 6/10 : Additional Information Sent
- 6/15 : My App. Refused and Case Closed

I was requested to send a copy of the first and the last of IMM0008.
I mentioned in my NSNP application that my FSW 2014 was in process(The FSW 2014 application returned to me in April though.).

Wow! I'm sorry about your case

I thought that if they believed that you didn't intend to settle in their province they will refuse you, but you had to state a city and province, except Quebec, on your FSW 2014 application. Why would they use that against you though? Do you have connections to BC? Do you have friends or relatives that live there?

Well.. I have received like almost 5 mails requesting additional information.... the official name is Erin.. I think hes my friend now LOL, because of so many replies and information requested.

For me this is positive.. because it they intended to refuse my application, they were able to do it without this back and forward of this mails...

lets just be positive to receive that nomination letter.

Apart from the FSW IMM 0008 form you were asked to send, did they request for a settlement plan/ why you decided to change your mind to settling in Nova Scotia?

I don't understand why mine was refused.

3 months have passed.
EE profile - choice is Alberta but applied for PNP in NS ...
Hope they will not punish.

Looks like after nomination, EE is really fast.. One of the applicants that i picked from a different forum had the below timelines.

20150109 NSNP Package signed
20150401 NSNP NOMINATION received
20150410 EE ITA received
20150417 EE applications submitted
20150420 Medical Exam Passed
20150522 Interview request
20150604 Interview passed/ Landing paper issued

I received nomination mail half an hour back.
I am asked to accept nomination within 1 month.
MyCIC profile is also updated with option to accept nomination.
