I am in a fix right now :-[ . As you guys know, my husband is PA for NSPNP, coincidentally today is his birthday and it is automatic on his EE profile. Now his profile is saying he is ineligible. What do we do please?

I am in confusion, I got my nomination, but yet to accept in express entry profile. I was waiting for my US PCC, meanwhile got confirmation on my job offer as well and employer wants to process my work permit to get me into the country, but the position is in Toranto. Not sure what to do. I am checking what is the best approach in this scenario. Employer offering me all the recolation allowances and one month accomodation with decent compensation.

Any suggestions friends.

I will advise you to reject the NS and concentrate on your Toronto job especially as your employer is ready to process your documents. That means your profile on EE will even be better bcos you have a job offer. If you accept NS you have to go and look for a job and you don't know how soon that will be. That's my view anyway the final decision lies with you.

Well no one knows your situation better then you. I will suggest you to go with Toronto option as you would have ready employment.
And as you have job offer so I guess you should get 600 points and must get ITA under Express Entry.

I do not think you need nomination from Nova Scotia.
I checked in SS you are in India, may I know how did you get job offer so easily?

To eligible in Express Entry you must need to fulfil criteria of - FSW or FST, or CEC. I guess your husbanb's EE profile was made on the basis of FSW criteria. As now because of his b'day he is losing 2 or 3 points to cover 67 points so now he needs to cover these points from IELTS.

can any one help on assessing the points

Dear Sir/Madam,


I m currently working as a temporary foreign worker in Canada Since 2012
I m planning to apply for NS PNP Express entry.While assessing my points from guide, I got 2 doubts on whether i will get the points with my status or not.



1.Regarding Language points ,

My IELTS scores are
Speaking - 7.5
Reading - 6.0
Writing - 6.0
Listening - 6.0

with these scores may i know how many points i get from assessment grid?

2. Regarding Arranged offer of employment. (10 Points)

Currently I m working in Canada with a closed work permit as a temporary foreign worker under Intra company transfer category since 2012 and which is valid till Mar 2016

With this status, do i get 10 Points on Arranged offer of employment section in grid assessment.
