I didn't receive any updates from them yet. I'm 6th August 2015 applicant.

AOR 0n 17 August 2016 and Reply on 19 August 2016.

Well., Shado, are they calling the last employer? If yes I need to alarm the supervisor who gave me the experience letter. Actually the HR department refused to give experience letter as stipulated according to NSNP. I somehow persuaded one of my supervisors and got the letter in the company letterhead and in the format NSNP wants.

Shado, if you know that your employer was contacted please let me know, if yes, I will just put a word to my last supervisor, she is very kind and helpful you know.,

At least give 2 weeks from AOR reply date. In some case you may get quickly. I'm expecting some more nomination tomorrow 31 and 1st sep, as in my email they gave me like a deadline of 31st Aug to respond for Nomination.

Hello,

I just wanted know from the ppl who got nominated, how the verification is going to happen post receiving the AOR ? Thanks

They will read each and every page written and verify in case they need further clarification.
Your NOC Comparison and contact you previous employers (mainly email the person who wrote your ref letter).
Your POF. See if you have enough POF. Not sure if they can verify this with your bank.
Your travel history. They may do some screening on countries you visited.
If officer is still not convinced, they will ask you for further proof or clarification. In some cases they will ask for a commitment letter or reason why you choose NS to settle. You have to be careful in those cases. I know of a person's app was rejected due to silly commitment letter to NS.
Your Relatives, friends in Canada
Your Visit to Canada if any etc

No. Please don't email them for an update. Nom can take from 2 weeks to 2 months or more. Please be patient. But now a days NS is super fast. You can expect Nom in 2 weeks or 3, if your application is clean.

Firstly, I apologise for replying you late and again sorry as I don't remember the dates when oksma and ASM got their nominations as it was quiet a long time back, may be the previous week. But as per my updates on this forum, I am sure that they have got the nominations.

Anyhow, wish you good luck too as you are the next as per the spreadsheet. Hopefully, we may hear some good news from you too.

In some cases there will be delay. Some guys waited for 4 months too.

Yes they contact employer usually via email mainly. Rare case they phone.

Just be patient. They will Nominate you soon.

Dear all,

I wonder if the nomination officer would send mail or contact the employer.. Did anyone of your supervisor's received call or email for the reference letter they provided ?

It has been 3 weeks after providing the additional document ? Got no reply from the nomination officer .. I have not alerted my supervisor on the reference letter .. yeah thinking that can also be the reason for the delay..

Should I ask them for an update.
