Hi, I am an OINP applicant. I and many others have applied in November 2015 and we still haven't received our nominations yet. I would like to know when these people,who got nominated lately, submit their applications?

I am asking this because I suspect that IRCC might have instructed the provinces to temporarily halt nominations so as to maintain the low number of ITAs.

Please let me know. Thanks!

I once suspected that initially too but I don't think that is the general case. OINP is just annoyingly slow lately (I sent my application to them in February, till now no AOR), guess they have received too much applications that they can handle and also since the province is commonly the first stop for most immigrants, they may want to reduce their influx as well. Other provinces have been nominating steadily so it is not a general case.

Thanks for your reply wisak! Well, okay - So this possibility is unlikely. OINP is unbelievably slow in issuing nominations. We, the November applicants are the first batch of applicants who are waiting this long to get nominated. They are doing great in the AOR department though - They have been issuing around 40 AORs a day for 22 straight working days. That's commendable given their resource pool.

As for mine, my docs received last week of July 2015.. already got pre-AOR last June 7, 2016..

Just to inform you, I am July 9, 2015 applicant. i got pre-AOR on June 18 and after that no reply from NS.

But anyways, meanwhile i have applied for Australia PR this year in March and got my PR last week. Its was only in 4 months.
Now i will be shifting to Australia in November this year.
