Hello everyone...I am not being able to check my application status on cic.gc.ca. ....I have my eoi application number with me...after logging into my account.. I am not being able to log into check my status link...kindly guide

I really did not get exactly who advised you to wait...
You are in Ontario, but what was your status before which is not valid now. Additionally I would like to know the reason why dint you apply for extension 30 days before losing your status. As per my understanding its better to be on implied status than restoration of status

Hi,
I already did the extension of work permit, my work permit expired last january 11 2016, then apply for extension dec. 29 2015, received the refusal letter from cic april 14, 2016. but before that, i already sent my application last april 1, 2016 under implied status but since they returned my application last may 4, resend my application again last fri and no legal status but put under 90 days to retore.

I assume, NSOI will bring a big change in their application processing for all backlogged applications.

I sended an email to nsnp@novascotia.ca to inquire about my status. Therefore, I got an automated email as below:

Thank you for your inquiry.

The NS Demand: Express Entry stream is being temporarily halted for the acceptance of new applications as of December 17, 2015 at 4:30 pm. We do not have a date at this time for when it will reopen but it iwill be posted on our website.

If you are looking for an update on your file, please note that you will not be contacted until your file reaches processing. Processing for NS Demand is taking 9 months or more. Skilled Worker and NS Experience 3 months or more.

If you have questions regarding any of our other streams please go to our website www.novascotiaimmigration.ca and reveiw the application guidelines. You must determine for yourself if you meet the criteria and if you do we encourage you to submit your application.

What is the on going time frame for response on PR after nominaation... I send mine in FEB. so far only response recieved as below:-

Application Sent:- Feb 2016
Additional Doc send:- feb 2016
Medical Pass:- Feb 2016

No further response.

Hahahha....that is so true they change the name to a whole new level. I dnt find anythink that works out as express.

One is suppose to have his/her own logging portal.. under gckey...where you check your file status .. This is one page where one submits the online appication profile after recieving nomination.

HI there Guys,

I applied for NSNP by end of March 2015, and after a few mails I was able to get the Nomination in Feb 2016 just before my express entry profile expiry date.

Now I have applied for the PR application on 4th march and last update was on 8th march with a document request and current status is Medical Passed, Eligibility review under progress.

Can any of you guys who got the confirmation for PR tell me normally how long did it take from the application submission till approval status?
