Congratulations and thank you for update. we don't know if the cap reached,if you and other guys who got nomination share last 3 digits or range of nomination number we can estimate our chance.

Hi RIDDYMON, i just want to ask you when will be the deadline for your submission of PCC to CIC? I am an applicant from saudi arabia and im waiting from the CIC to send me a request letter to get a PCC.

I got my PCC request 3 days ago but you have 60 days to submit it.

Hello Suresh,

Can you please let me know, under which stream you applied? I applied under NS Demand: Express Entry. I want to know that once somebody gets a nomination certificate from NS, how long does NS take to give ITA. Is there also an option to wait for applying for PR with CIC after receiving Nomination Cert from NS. I ask so coz I remember to have read somewhere on the NSNP website, that once you have the nomination cert, you need to apply with CIC for a PR in 6 months time. Does this apply to express entry route as well?

Firstly ITA isn't provided by the province. Once you get nomination you're required to go into MyCIC and accept the nomination afterwhich the 600 points is applied. Not too sure how long that nomination acceptance is valid for but the 6 month rule still applies for EE as well.

It is good to hear about you and a positive signal for all of us to know about the final stage, Visa stamping.

May I know what are the stages and duration that are involved after Medical exam gets Passed.
How did you send your passport to Vfs Chennai. Did you go in person or courier (which courier)?
Did you have any interview? What is the next step after Visa stamping?

Express Entry

ITA in 9th Draw - 5/22/2015
Confirmation of online transmission - 25/06/2015 (submitted my Medical (upfront) along with my online applications.
1st AOR - 25/06/2015
Request Letter for province nominee form - 06/26/2015
2nd AOR - 07/16/2015
PPR - 08/28/2015
Passport send to NDVO through VFS Chennai - 08/31/2015
COPR & Visa stamped Passport Reveived - 09/03/2015


You can directly go to the VFS office and hand over the PPR request letter with your passport and the Photo (specifications mentioned in CIC). They will transmit your passport to the local Canada high commission. It is chargeable and the fee details are available in VFS site.

I did not have any interview and not yet finalized the travel date. but early next year 2016.

I have heard that if you manage to get a Provincial PR for Canada, you have to complete landing within few months to get a PR card. Once landing is completed, you can go back to home country for some time and then come back to Canada. Does this hold good for NS Demand : Express Entry stream? If yes, how long one has to complete landing in NS and thereafter PR card is obtained, for how long one can stay back in home country before returning to NS for settling down permanently?
