Hi Guys,

I am also planning to apply for 2016 , I heard the news that the NS Demand express entry system has stopped taking applications. However I also see that :
The Nova Scotia Office of Immigration will continue to accept paper-based applications for its immigration streams until the end of June 2016.

What does this mean ? Can we still submit application or not ?

I've sent the application in 20th of December and sent NSNP Office mail to ask them whether it will be accepted or not they replied with

You will hear from us shortly if it is being returned. You should receive your file back before you can apply again as we aren’t sure when this stream will re-open in the new year.

I am interested in applying Nova Scotia demand stream. Please assist is it essential to have degree in same code in which to apply. Interested and have experience in HR but have degree in Mass Com. WES gave three year Bachelors . NOC interested to apply is HR with extensive experience.

what other options to apply without job offer letter.

I have actually been told that it has been closed - but could not find any official statement on the web-site - can anyone provide a link?

I do not doubt the fact that it is closed, just want to know how do they announce it.

I assume your application will be returned - so you can apply again for sure.
