Hi Guys,

I have applied for under NSNP category in the month of April. Is there anyone here who applied in March or April and are waiting to hear from the immigration office.

many people have already received Case number for assessment from Nova Scotia, and others have received Nomination letters.

Hi guys,

I applied on March 19 2014, but I haven't yet received the prescreen e-mail as they said in their web site. According to the list which other applicants have submit their information to, only 4 applicants in around 200 have got the prescreen email.

They have just told in their web site that the NSNP has closed. I expected that it would lead to increase in prescreen emails sending, but it seems that they are not going to follow the process!
Is there anyone who has got any email from Halifax immigration office!?
 
Did you get the reply? How long was the processing time?

My wife's application was submitted on 12th Sept 2014 and we haven't even received the File #. When I called them they said that it is still in Pre-screening stage and NSNP could take upto 3 months.
 
I've applied for nomination under family business worker under NSNP on december 10.
I have job offer and contract from my brother who has a business in Halifax, my job offer is (NOC 0631 restaurant manager).
I want to know from u if I have a real chance to get a positive response for nomination from office immigration in Nova Scotia.

I'm nobody to comment on that question. All I can say is the people at Nova Scotia Office of Immigration are very friendly. I used to call them several times but they never sounded rude. Anna at the reception helped a lot to expedite our application. We finally got the nomination on 25th Nov '14. You may send them an email to nsnp@novascotia.ca and check the status of your application.

Yes, I fully agree! They are friendly and very helpful. I received my letter of nomination in 5 weeks since applying.

Hi All,

We had applied for our WP & TRV from VFS Global Bangalore office and our Application is with Bangalore Immigration office. We have received our Medical Exam Request yesterday but we're travelling out of Bangalore tomorrow morning to Kolkata.

Is it possible to get the Medical Exam done from Kolkata and submit the receipt to VFS Kolkata office?

After how many months you get the nomination from Nova Scotia ? If you can explain?
