Trv for parents. It’s disheartening to see people applied on Jan 27 get ppr. Hopefully we all get it in coming weeks
what is your review status? which country you applied from?

even Jan 31 got PPR on Feb 3/4

This is so frustrating.. I am waiting since Oct 4th week
I was reading an article on cic news and it mentioned they use data analytical tool to expedite TRV. Seems like applications are picked up by some algo and presented to officers. Because I think no human mind will want to pick up Jan 2022 application before Oct 2021. I mean only rational I can come up with :(. Anyway good thing amidst this is travel restrictions are eased so family can travel without testing from third country or New Delhi

It is just beyond disgusting to see the randomness

Almost *all* applicants from Jan 2022 have a decision or review on their file

Older files are just stuck and lost.. Just feeling defeated

I am now waiting to see Feb 1st applicants getting PPR with these trends
While any amount of consolation doesn't help until one receives an approval on their application, I see both GC Key and IRCC portal getting decisions. At least files are not lost and stopped without processing.

However all this is very temporary solace as the randomness throws me off completely

What kind of data analytical tool is that? I think they have to turn off the shuffle mode in the tool and go by order in processing the TRV applications, if its not an emergency application. And everyone got their own urgency. Hope IRCC will soon clear all the Oct to Nov2021 backlogs. Fingers are still crossed for last few months..
