Hello all,
I appeared for my citizenship exam on 28th of November 2014 in Edmonton. I moved to the new place locally on October 28th and did manage to change the address online. I have activated the letter forward service with Canada Post but was told that the government letters will not be forwarded. I spoke with the call centre agent and was assured that the address has been at their end. I am not sure if I can be assured that the new address is in effect locally in CIC Edmonton office as well. Although logically thinking , it should be okay and that the address would be updated everywhere but I am just worried as I am waiting for my invitation to oath letter to come soon. Has anyone been through this and what was the outcome? I would really appreciate if someone could share his/her experience or may know anyone who's been through the same situation.

You will be fine and you should receive mail at your new address. Also keep checking eCas and you will see when they send you Oath letter.

Thank you catchvb. I have read a lot of threads which say that online status will not change even when they send you the oath letter. I suppose you are against this statement.
