@eltorpe Kitchener office is slow in updating stuff :-) As long as they keep sending oath invite applicants will not mind ;) Finally tomorrow we will be citizen and the lengthy documentation process will be over :-)

Congrats..you are over worried.. even if you don't have ECAS update or email or Letter ..get the PR card/DL/HealthCard (just to be safe) and come to ceremony.. That's it.. They will give you the one page there to sign and you will be all set Wait is over :) :)

Yes you can except agricultural land. But your parents(if they are Indian citizen) can buy and you can inherit. You can do any job except some government jobs and holding political post. You can stay in India as long as you want. If for whatever reason you want to get Indian Citizenship back...

eCAS is not updated yet. I received test invite letter before my eCAS got updated. I think eCAS gets updated randomly or in my case 4-5 days after they send the letter.

Citizenship is a matter of passport holder and the issuing country. USA or any country does not have any right. Only issuing country can question if one has used the passport for any travel.

My country does not allow dual citizenship. I have valid visitor visa for US. US needs passport+valid visa for entry in United States. I do not need to enter US as canadian citizen. My current country allows travel within 3 months period of acquiring other citizenship without renouncing it.
