Notifying CIC of change in Marital Status

Hi all,

I am currently on a work permit but have a PR application in progress. I am about to get married next month. How do I inform CIC about this change in the marital status? Is there an email id that I can send email to?

I sent an email to QuestionATcic.gc.ca to inquire about it but they said that my query does not meet their reply criteria

Please help.

go to your visa office website and use the inquery form in there... you should provide your file number and other information related. you can also send a letter to the visa office responsable of processing your application to inform about your change of marital status, once you actually get married.

Only after wedding with supporting documents such as marriage certificate.

So, it is not required to inform CIC in advance that the marriage is gonna happen in these many days and ask for the doc list as the marital status is gonna change? Because, PPR may be received in the period before wedding. I cannot send the Passport when the marital status would change in few days.

Please advise.

hello guys i applied for bc pnp in July 2015. I recently got married. So when i went throught most of the threads everyone suggested to let the pnp guys know of my marital status change and add the spouse into it. However she gotta do medicals for herself. In our case she is pregnant and during pregnancy period they wont be able to do the complete medicals(as far as I know). I am very much confused regarding this. Can anyone give a suggestion. You can choose to contact IRCC and see what documents would they require as a proof for your marriage.

in the application form for pcc how should i fill question number 19. and 20. are they related.

Question 19: Have you visited/stayed in india after acquisition of landed status/foreign

i hope the answer would be yes if i have gone for any vacation back home.

Question 20: Is a box asking for address where stayed, from and to.

Is this question asking for the details of q.19 or is it the whole history of our entire stay in india from childhood.

My nephew just got his V1 Visitor Visa with expiry in 2030. His marital status will change before he gets to use the V1 Visa. What does he needs to do to change his status or does he need to? Thanks!
