Well I finally got my Test date after receiving a letter to prepare in December 2013 (December 2011 was my original application date). Of course with two weeks notice I was forced to reschedule a business trip to Asia at a significant expense to avoid rescheduling the test which I heard could further delay the citizenship application.

Notice to prepare for the test in December 2013
Test Date June 2014

Who knows how long before I actually have to take the oath.

Anyone else got notice to prepare for test? I'm wondering if CIC has stopped sending notice to prepare for exams letters. Everyone seems to be getting a letter with a test date. Any thoughts?

Hello All,

I finally had my oath on June 11th. Here's my timeline:
Applied May 2012
Received RQ in June 2013,
Completed and sent RQ Back in July 2013
Received a notice to prepare for Exam in Dec 2013
Received a notice to appear for test on April 23rd 2014
Test was on May 6th 2014.
Oath on June 11th 2014.

Residence questionari received on august 2013( and sent back the same week)
Notice to prepare t Exm received on dec 12th, 2013
Notice t appear to exam received today ( and also showing it on ecas ) test on July 24th ( letter issue date June 12 , 2014)
