I'm frequently traveling out of Canada for business and am on an extended trip this time. I just happened to check e-cas as it's been about a year since applying for citizenship. According to e-cas, CIC has sent me a notice to appear letter and requires that I must appear for the test on a certain day and time. The e-cas system makes no mention of the place and the documentation needed for the test. I won't have access to this letter until I'm back in Canada, if it has been sent at all, and from what I understand CIC's mail delivery service is not all that reliable (I didn't even receive the study booklet!). I have made arrangements to be back in time, but do I require this letter to take the test? what if I didn't get the letter? can I still take the test without it? how do I find out where the test centre is and what documentation do I need? All responses will be greatly appreciated - thank you!
