Does someone know if IRCC accepts n notive of reassessment. I have sponsored my parents under pgp and was wondering if it will be accepted.

They sometimes do. Depending on the circumstances surrounding the reassessment. Whether the reassessment was done specifically to meet the LICO requirements. If that's the case then no.

Well usually it is pretty obvious if the difference between the previously assessed and reassessed amounts results in one going from not meeting LICO to meeting LICO by a small margin.

Rather suspicious isn't it?

If it surpasses the required LICO by a massive amount and a lot of back owed taxes are paid then I think they will think it a genuine reassessment.

More than likely because they realize people will do this , and secondly it’s not the IRCC’s first day at the rodeo aka they are not stupid ...that’s why
