Hi. I have got an ITA in the last draw, and I am applying for PR. I was working in a company and most of the people whom I was working with, including my manager, have left the organization. I have an offer letter, relieving letter and salary slips from that organization. But the only thing which I am missing is roles and responsibilities. Unfortunately, I cannot get that on company letterhead. However, I am getting a reference letter from my ex-colleague who was working with me. Now he is also working on a different company and luckily we both are in contact. He is happy to provide a reference letter for me.

I am thinking of:
1. Notarizing a letter
2. Adding his relieving letter to prove that he was working with me in the same organization.

If I can notarize the letter, what is recommended? Notarizing on a Rs 20 or Rs 200 stamp paper is required or notarizing on a white paper would suffice?

What other suggestion would you give me to show roles and responsibilities?

Please do explain why you cannot provide in company letter head in your letter of explanation and also explain why you are getting it from an ex employee.
Notarizing on a 20Rs stamp paper will do. I did that as well. Hopefully that should work.
Does your offer letter describe your role? If yes, you can mention in explanation letter to refer that for role and responsibilities. If not, see if your company has any job posting same as your role, and you can include that web page as a supporting document to confirm the responsibilities that was expected from your role.

Thank you so much. Yes, I will explain everything in letter of explanation and get reference letter notarized on Rs 20 stamp paper.

No. It doesn't have roles and responsibilities. But general policy information such as vacation benefits, salary and so on.
If it is possible, contact the HR of the company and tell them you were an employee and want a reference letter.

If that fails, then ask your ex-colleague to write one.

Don't make it harder for IRCC to verify your claims.
