When they ask to send a 'notarized photocopy', would it suffice, or is the correct process, to first have the notary make a certified true copy, and then notarize that copy?

Is this similar to what others out there have done with regards to notarizing their documents?

Personally i think for photocopy a certified true copy don't need be notarized. For notarized it would be more convenient for invitation letter or something like that.

To my knowledge, a "notarized copy" or "notarial copy" is the same thing as a "certified true copy", just different names. They should give you as many "copy's" as you want, since you pay for each one.
At least this is what the lawyer told me
