Notarized employment contracts...Please clear my doubt

Hey guys....
Even though i have sent my application to CHC, New Delhi one doubt came in my mind so please clear it....
What i did was....
* Make a photo-copy of my Offer-Letter from my present and past employers and notarize it and sent it to CHC, New Delhi...
* Sent original upto-date Reference letter with detailed job/position/salary/roles description from my present and past employers

Am i correct....coz in the CHC, New Delhi requirement it says that notarized employment contracts of present and past employers
This is not original offer-letter(contract letter) right...coz no1 will give anything original to any1.
Just clear my doubt...
So what i have done is correct right...
Please clear my doubt friends......
