Notarized Documents - CHC, London

Hi All,

I wonder if anyone out there can help with Notary Public to notarize documents in London and surrounding area. what I have found that there are nearly 15- 20 documents to be notarised and it is really expensive (£20 per Document).

I would appreciate if anyone has knowledge of any cheap Notary Public and forward me their details at your earliest convenience.

I spoke to them and the price they gave me is ridiculously expesive. Please don't get me wrong and I appreciate your help but it's an extortion.

What do you thik if I get everything notarised from overseas, as I'm travelling to India in 2 weeks?

Please advise.

@ Mitz08 - I remember one similar case of UK where the applicant was basically from Bangladesh.

He sent all the docs to Bangladesh from UK and get the same attested from Bangladesh with a total cost of £10 and later submitted all notarised docs to CHC London.

Pls take advice from seniors on this forum also.

Oversea might be your best option. I was in the same situation about 3 weeks ago.
Maybe you can get a cheaper service outside London

I'm a UK Citizen and do you think if I get these documents to be notarised from India, would it be ok? I mean CHC, London is not going to ask questions and all.

Seniors please advise me ASAP.

i don't see anything wrong in u getting those notarised from India. i have never seen/heard any such cases that docs r being returned due to the residence of the notary public. but it also doesn't mean that i know evrything. if i were in ur shoes, i would get the papers notarised from India.

Where are you from? Are you a UK citizen and did you send all your documents to Bangladesh to get Notarized? What was your situation? Did CHC, London came back with any query whatsoever? Did you also get your bank statements notartised?
