Hi All,

I have two very specific questions. I will ask one on this thread.

For documents such as appointment letter (which may be 4 to 5 pages), passport (all pages, I guess 36), and other documents such as experience letter etc, do we need to get each and evey page notarized or just the first page of a document say the appointment letter?

Also, a sub-question, if I may, do we need to get the passport photocopy also notarize?

Kindly advise
Thanks

Passport i think its only the data page containing name and date of birth should be included and notorised, experience letter should be original i think but if you cant get original then notorise all pages , appoitment letter notorise all copies

Depends on your VO - i believe for the ND VO all documents need to be notarized except for your transcripts, PCC and IELTS which need to be in original.

Check the requiremnts of your VO carefully the checklist should be able to guide you.

We're finding this confusing also.

The London Visa office instructions say a photocopy only of the picture/info page, and they do not stipulate that it needs to be notarized?

They also seem to ask for original birth certificates + marriage certificate, not notarized copies.

They seem to want notarized copies of employment contracts (not the reference letters since those will be original). How to get these, so the copy of the employment contract from my last employer was a print-out from their computer records, so there is nothing for the lawyer to notarize the copy against?

Unsure whether to ONLY notarize the very documents they ask to be notarized, or notarize everything which is not an original (including passport photocopy pages)?

Yes, for all applications sent after June 26th, the initial application with full documents you send to Sydney, Nova Scotia.

They will check
a) You have at least 67 points
b) You have supplied IELTS test results

If the above two are ok they will send you application and documents to your chosen Visa Office where the remainder of the processing will take place.

I guess they are trying to do some initial filtering before it gets to the Visa Office to lighten the load a bit.

I have been wondering why people are sending all pages copy from passport. I did not send it to Buffalo because it is not required. And since you are sending to Singapore..I checked it too and here it is:

Include only copies of pages showing:
•the passport number,
•date of issue and expiry,
•your photo, name, date and place of birth

so I don't know why people are sending copies of all pages... Am I missing something????
