You have to photocopy all documents & certificates, then notarize all the photocopies. Then, you submit the notarized photocopies to Canadian Immigration. Never submit an original copy as you will never be able to get it back.

Don't make statements that are not true. Read the checklist, the only notarized documents required are translations of documents into French/English. All others are originals or copies.
