Hi all,
I'm about to send in my application and am just finalizing the collection of documents for appendix A (London). I don't know if it has been updated lately but It says that I need to notarize all documents? That seems odd to me as before it only said that I had to notarize my employment contract.

At this point I'm just confused as I have birth certificates, University Degree, proof of relationship documents ..if I notarize every single document it's going to cost me a bomb !

Any ideas ?

Hi,
You do not have to notarize some documents and must be sent in originals, such as PCC, university grade transcripts, Language test results. See if you could get two copies of every upto date employment reference letters. so that you keep one for yourself and send other to CHC. (of course, only if it is cheaper than notarization). Some CHC says that "do not send orginals unless otherwise stated". But dnt worry about it.

Any other suggestions from seniors for this gentleman here?

Hey Ice Cube,
the thing is that i already have university sealed transcripts but i am not providing results test scores for language, instead i am providing copies of highschool diplomas and a copy of my university degree along with a written submission and some work samples... but these are only photocopies... im assuming that the uni sealed transcript will support my university degree as really it's the transcript that shows the breakdown of results etc and it's sealed...
Also i have various employment letters so i can send the originals... but my contract is already notarised, i was just wondering more about the following:

e.g. passport page copy
temporary visa copy
granparents canadian passport page and PR certificate etc...

As far as I know, Written submission for language proficiency is only recommended for native english speakers.
Yes, your university transcripts will support that. However, it would be of less confusion if you have notarized copies of original degrees and certificates.

e.g. passport page copy- Must be notarized! temporary visa copy-Must be notarized!granparents canadian passport page and PR certificate etc...Yeah, notarization is required on those. Please also provide proof of relationship to Canadian Grandparents by providing birth certificates (notarized)
