I haven't recieved any responce or status change. still I have

your ecase have been changed in to '' IN PROCESS '' if so why not mine?

I sent on June 12 2010
recieved 2AOR August 10 2010
exactly one year as the letter I have recieved I have to contact visa office after 8 month if there is not responce until that. but i didn't do so.

this depend for officer? i dont know how they work

if u want to send you can send but from my experince it will not effect for u status

for my case in process but not mention start date for in process maybe mean error or not in process
