Not sure when can I get the visa?

Hi, I am new to the forum.

I live in Pittsburgh,USA now.
I submitted my online application on 28th Oct. And got the email that they received my application on
30th Oct.

I am wondering when can I receive the email that asks me to send passport? Nearly four weeks have
passed. And I want to go to Canada before Christmas. I am not sure whether I can get the visa before
that!!! Anyone has any idea??

And how could I know which office will process my application? LA or NY?

And is there any method to contact with officer? Mobile phone or email?

Hi, actually I am an international student here.
So I must have a visa to visit Canada.
