I have a friend he is in Iraq with the US military. He is sponsoring his wife from Brazil going through RIO.I know this is somewhat a canadian forum But he has asked if i could get him info because there where he is he is only allowed minutes on the computer.
They have had their app in since nov 09.If anyone could help so i can help a uniformed friend.

I don't know where the page is anymore, but when I was looking in to
possibly getting my soon to be husband into the US, there was a provision
for getting folk in the military, in Iraq, their spouses over quickly.

If you keep looking you should be able to find it.

It looks good for your friend though :)

There is so much about your post that leaves questions - the guy is with the US military?? This is "somewhat of a Canadian forum"?? Brazilian nationals applying to immigrate to Canada aren't processed through Rio and, typically, US citizens are not sponsoring partners to Canada . . . so, if you're trying to get info about the process for immigrating to the States, try visajourney.com We can't help you here.

Where does it say in your original post that he is American? This is not "somewhat a canadian forum" it IS a Canadian visa forum, hence the name of the website. Take Robluvs suggestion and ask your friend's question in a forum regarding US immigration where you are much more likely to find the answer.

Just looking for someone that knows the answer. An american sponsoring a Brazilian through Rio he is in the military posted in IRAQ.process times there are some people on here that can answer this i know or i would have not posted it. Leon PMM???

If you go on trackitt.com, they also post processing times for US immigration in addition to Canada - there's also a forum on that site, similar to this one (though I find this forum way more helpful). Anywho, go that website and click on U.S. I bet you can find something there...
